  Choosing a font for your website can be a very difficult task, but it doesn’t have to be. For those who don’t know the difference between typefaces, this should give you the basics of what you want to put onto your website. You do not need to follow these guidelines, but it will get you on your way to a beautiful website.   Cursive I would only recommend the cursive typeface for large headers on your home page because it can show creativity and beauty. In small letters, cursive can be almost impossible to read, but it looks great when it is large. If you owned a floral shop, a women’s clothing store, or even if you’re a designer, this typeface would be perfect for your website.    Serif Serif is the original typeface used in print.
